Can't change display driver
The window to change drivers is never shown, it just displays the message and stays at the same window. Can anyone please tell me what might be causing this problem and how to solve it, or at least where to begin to look. I've checked the security settings and can't find anything. Fuzzy display - can't change it!
I decided to change. Opened Desktop themes and tried to make the changes. The dialog box for Desktop themes did not display the correct wallpaper. I had updated the display driver long ago, as recommended by HP, as well as other related software updates but can't say if that had any bearing on the problem.

Can't change Display Settings
Monitor (ImageQuest 770+) was recognised as Plug & Play. I have original CD; it has *.inf file but no install utility. The reason I didn't do it was that it never occured to me that a "young" monitor's driver was not ready for resolution higher than 800x600, besides, XP recognized the monitor by model already...my bad.
